11 more cases of swine flu are reported, most in Sidrol?ndia and Chapad?o

In two days, over 11 cases of influenza H1N1 were reported in Mato Grosso do Sul, in agreement with the last epidemiological bulletin influenza disclosed this week. The largest number of notifications was registered in/and in Baildon South, with 4 cases in each city. They also had new occurrences in Ribas do Rio Pardo, Eldorado and Gold. With these data, the State reaches 500 notifications of disease. The notifications, one case of H1N1 was confirmed in Costa Rica. Of H3N2 there was no new confirmed cases. In the State was not confirmed any more death by H1N1, H3N2 and influenza B. Of 11 deaths that were in research until the previous epidemiological bulletin, four were discarded and seven follow in analysis, in Campo Grande, Pad, Nova Andradina, Ponta Por?, River/Glossy, and Tacuru.

In Caarapo there is a suspected H1N1 and a confirmed case of H3N2

Data from the State Department of Health pointed out that increased to 500 the number of people with suspected influenza flu, known as swine flu. Statewide seven deaths were confirmed, three by H1N1, H3N2 and two by two by Influenza b. Seven other deaths are being investigated, in Campo Grande, a cushion, a in Nova Andradina, one in San Diego, one in Bright, a River in Sidrol?ndia and Tacuru.

Campo Grande leads the number of suspected with 225 people. The other eight are suspected of H3N2 and five with suspected H1N1 in the Capital. Sonora is with 13 patients with suspected H1N1 and two others with H3N2, other 21 with suspected influenza. Sidrol?ndia also has a high number of suspects with 37 cases reported. Already in Caarap? there is a suspected case of H1N1 and an H3N2, confirmed a subtype of influenza A that affects mainly children up to 2 years and the elderly . Rises to eight the number of deaths due to the swine flu in MS

The notified cases already totalled 562, among which 64 were confirmed. The municipality with the highest number of confirmed cases is Sound, where the Secretariat has registered 15, being 13 of H1N1 and 2 of H3N2. In Campo Grande were 14 confirmed, 6 of H1N1 and 8 of H3N2.

Swine Flu makes victim in Dourados, ninth death in the State


The State Department of Health has confirmed one more death by swine flu in Mato Grosso do Sul, the first in Dourados. There are already nine confirmed deaths. Second epidemiological bulletin of the secretariat, disclosed on Thursday (29), five deaths were confirmed by H1N1, three inhabitants of Campo Grande, one of Ponta Por? and 1 Gold. Still according to the bulletin, two deaths occurred because of the type H3N2, both residents of the Capital. After cold wave, Health investigates two deaths by swine flu in the Capital

The State Department of Health investigates two deaths caused by the influenza virus H1N1, known as swine flu, in Campo Grande. The deaths occurred after a wave of intense cold in the Capital, the highest in the past 35 years.

As the bulletin disclosed on Tuesday, the two deaths under suspicion occurred in the Capital. Six Other suspected occurred within and had already been notified in previous newsletters: Pad, New Andradina, Ponta Por?, River/Glossy, and Tacuru.

The secretariat has already confirmed nine deaths caused by the flu in the State, being five by swine flu, two by H3N2 and two by the influenza virus. Most of the deaths occurred in the Capital, three by swine flu and two by H3N2.

The secretariat notified 635 cases of the disease from January until yesterday, being that 46 were confirmed for the virus H1N1, 23 of H3N2 and 11 of influenza B.

Teacher dies in hospital with suspected influenza H1N1

The professor of Nova Andradina, Leliane Rocha Andrade de Oliveira, for 28 years, died yesterday (20) in the morning in a hospital in Dourados and main suspicion is that the death has occurred in a consequence of influenza H1N1.


She would have spent badly on Thursday (19) and sought care in the Cassems of New durham. Due to the complexity of the case, the teacher was transferred, at night, for Gold, in a hospital in the same network, where not resisted and died a few hours later. People close to Leliane stated that she has been away from the classroom in the last week because she accompanied his four-year old daughter, who was hospitalized.

During the period of hospitalization, the child would have contracted another disease different from what had motivated its entry in the hospital unit. The girl had medical discharge in wednesday (18). Yet, according to friends and family, Leliane gave entry in the hospital for around 17h30min of fifth and, at the beginning of the morning, had cardiac arrest, for which reason it was transferred.


The teacher lectured in public School Fatima Gaiotto Sampaio for students of Elementary and High school.

The bulletin disclosed is number 32, and accounts for the recent occurrences in MS until the thursday (19).
