Health investigates suspected H1N1 on 1 year old girl in MS
The Municipal Health Office (Sesau) in Campo Grande investigates a suspected case of H1N1 flu. This is a 1 year-old girl, hospitalized since Friday morning (3) in the Holy House of the city. According to the Clinical Director of the hospital, Luiz Alberto Kanamura, the State of the patient, isolated in intensive care Center (CTI), is serious.
Kanamura told G1 that the girl was hospitalized with pneumonia, but initial suspicion because of the speed of evolution and severity of clinical picture, did the influenza hypothesis. According to him, is the first suspected case of the disease recorded in the hospital in 2013.
the patient's mother, Maria Aparecida da Silva, 33, told G1 that daughter started assistance high fever, tiredness and coughing for about 15 days. She took her daughter to the Ready Service (UPA) of Colonel Antonino three times during this period. Doctors found that she had pneumonia and forwarded to the Holy House.
