'Swine flu' detected in election time!
During the campaigning of Lok Sabha elections, the risks of spreading the disease are being expressed by the medical sector.

Mahesh Bokde, Nagpur

In comparison to the total number of swine flu patients found in the state between January 1 and March 17, 2018, in the year 2019, two and a half times more deaths have been reported, but deaths have been reported 12 times more. This viral illness is spread through contact with the patient. During the campaigning of Lok Sabha elections, the risks of spreading the disease are being expressed by the medical sector.

A total of 812 swine flu patients were found in the second half of January 2018 to 17 March 2018. Five of them were buried during treatment. During the same period in 2019, the number of patients increased to 2.5276 in two and a half times. During this period, 64 deaths were reported, out of which only 22 deaths were reported from Nagpur region and 13 deaths were from Nagpur city. Even though the maximum deaths in the city, the Municipal Health Department does nothing beyond awareness. In 2018, the highest number of 428 swine flu patients was found in Pune division. There was 1 patient in it.

In the year 2019, 760 cases were found in Pune division, of which 16 people died. Although 238 cases were reported in the Nagpur division, the highest number of deaths reported in the state was 22.

A doctor of the medical hospital has the risk of spreading swine flu to viral diseases as well as those who come in contact with him. Therefore, others may also get the disease if they come in contact with the swine flu patient in campaigning for Lok Sabha elections.

"The patients of swine flu have increased in the state. They can grow further after March. All the hospitals have been instructed to control the disease from the Primary Health Center to the District Health Center. Also preventable vaccine has been made available with the drug. Citizens should also avoid going to the crowded places to stay away from this disease, make cloth on the face while sneezing, wash hands with soap from time to time.
