With this, measures will be taken to prevent premises in the campus.

Pune: According to the Health Department of the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), an 8-year-old boy from Dhayari recently succumbed to suspected swine flu. The boy was diagnosed with thalassemia major when he was seven months old.


He had tested positive for H1N1. However, the death review committee was yet to declare him the first victim of swine flu this year.

Nagpur has the highest number of deaths among the patients. The health department's anxiety has increased due to the high death rate compared to the patients in Nagpur.

Of the total 262 cases found in the state between January 1, 2019 and 22 January 2019, 151 are from Pune division. Of these, 117 people are from Pune city and there is no death here. 43 in Mumbai division, 3 in Thane division, 6 in Nashik division, 2 in Aurangabad division, 10 in Latur division, 2 in Akola division, and no deaths found. There are 22 patients in the Nagpur division and five people have died during treatment. The maximum number of deaths is in Nagpur district and three of them are residents of Nagpur city. A dead person is from Amravati district.

Shishir Wadibhsam was working in the water resources department at Nagpur. Being ill since last few days, he got medical treatment. However, on Friday his condition became serious. Last night he died during the treatment. His cremation was cremated on the night. Mr. 14-year-old girl of Vadibhasme is also affected by swine flu. He was diagnosed with treatment at private hospital. The deceased has a mother, wife, two daughters and a son.
