Coronavirus update: 22 deaths, 54 recoveries, 999 confirmed cases
Twenty-two people have died from Covid-19 in Lithuania, Health Minister Aurelijus Veryga said on Friday.
This replaced the previous reported death toll of 17 after receiving information from other hospitals across the country, Veryga said on Friday afternoon.
He also reported that 54 people have recovered from the virus. "I hope this number will grow even faster," the health minister said.
The minister previously pledged to test more people recovering from Covid-19. Until Friday, only seven people had officially recovered from the coronavirus.
Lithuania recorded 1326 Coronavirus Cases since the epidemic began, according to the World Health Organization (WHO). In addition, Lithuania reported 36 Coronavirus Deaths.

41 041 people in Latvia have been tested for COVID-19 so far, according to information from Disease Prevention and Monitoring Centre (SPKC).
During a joint meeting on 14 March, Latvia’s government and the Crisis Management Council decided to limit the open hours of all culture, entertainment, sports and other leisure venues to 23:00.
