On Friday and Saturday, 43 new cases were detected. So far, there have been 50 deaths of COVID-19 patients in the country. 828 patients have already recovered. Since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, Lithuania has made 183 913 tests.

Lithuania confirmed six new coronavirus cases over Sunday, the country's Health Ministry said on Monday morning. One Covid-19 patient passed away in Vilnius Clinical Hospital.

So far, Lithuania has reported 1,547 infections and 59 coronavirus deaths.

Fifteen new coronavirus cases were confirmed in Lithuania over Tuesday, bringing the country's total to 1,577, the National Public Health Centre said.

Over two-thirds of the infected, 1,049, have already recovered, while 460 are considered active cases.

So far, 60 people have died from Covid-19. Eight more patients who had been diagnosed with the coronavirus died from other causes. On Tuesday, 7,980 people were tested for the coronavirus.

In the past day a total of 5 new COVID-19 infection cases were found in Latvia, increasing the total number to 1 030.

The latest data for Estonia reports 7 new infection cases, increasing to 1 807.

64 people in Estonia have died from COVID-19 and 325 people have made a successful recovery.

The latest information for Lithuania reports a total of 1 604 infections, which is an increase of 11 new patients.

The number of deaths in Lithuania caused by complications from the virus has reached 61, whereas the number of recoveries has reached 1 111.

So far a total of 96 366 tests have been performed in Latvia, according to information from Disease Prevention and Monitoring Centre. Additionally, 22 COVID-19 patients have died in Latvia. 712 people in the country have made a full recovery.

As previously reported, on Thursday, 7 May, the government decided to ease a number of restrictions in relation to COVID-19, also extending the state of emergency until 9 June.

Residents are urged to organize work from home where possible, go shopping less often and avoid crowded places.

The state of emergency in Estonia is active until 17 May, and in Lithuania – until 31 May.
