Dijelaskan Azizman, bahwa suhu badan DS mulai menurun, jika kemarin 37,6 derajat celcius, pagi ini bergerak pada angka 37,2 derajat celcius. Selain itu kondisi parunya juga terus membaik. "Kondisi parunya mulai stabil dan yang bersangkutan tidak batuk lagi," paparnya.

Meskipun secara kliniks menunjukan perkembangan positif, namun Azizman tidak berani gegabah dengan menyimpulkan DS negatif flu burung. "Kita tak bisa menyimpulkan begitu. Kepastiannya kita tunggu hasil dari laboratorium Puslitbang Departemen Kesehatan. Mungkin besok sudah keluar," demikian penjelasannya.***(mad)

Menurut Arif, saat baru tiba, tinggi demam PAS 38 derajat Celcius. Satu jam kemudian, demamnya turun menjadi 36 derajat. Petugas IRD kemudian melakukan rapid test berupa tes darah, hidung, dan tenggorokan. "Hasilnya masih dianalisa," ujarnya.

PAS masuk rumah sakit berdasarkan rujukan dari Puskesmas Wonosari. Orang tuanya mengatakan pasien menderita panas dan sesak nafas sejak Senin (18/2). PAS baru dibawa ke puskesmas hari ini dan langsung dikirim ke rumah sakit.

Menurut orang tuanya, sehari sebelum deman atau hari Minggu pagi, PAS melakukan kontak fisik dengan sejumlah ayam petelor di rumahnya. Minggu siang, diketahui ada tiga ayam yang mati mendadak.

Dinas Peternakan dan Dinas Kesehatan Pemkab Malang sudah meneliti tiga bangkai ayam milik PAS. Hasilnya, ketiga ayam tersebut positif terserang flu burung. "Kemungkinan korban tertular dari ayam-ayam tersebut."

Kadis Kesehatan Kampar Ahmad Hanafi SKM mengemukakan hal itu menjawab riautoday.com siang ini.

Menurut Hanafi, pemantauan itu merupakan tindakan antisipasi terhadap kemungkinan ditemukan suspect baru. Warga tidak perlu khawatir atas pantauan itu.

Rabu (20/02) kemarin, seorang pelajar di Malang, Jawa Timur dirujuk ke ruang isolasi Rumah Sakit Saiful Anwar Malang. Sedangkan di Pekalongan seorang warga dirawat intensif diruang isolasi RSUD Keraton dan keduanya diduga terjangkit flu burung.

BAR (16 tahun) warga Desa Kebobang, Kecamatan Wonosari, Kabupaten Malang ini terpaksa dirawat di ruang isolasi Rumah Sakit Saiful Anwar, Malang. Indikasi BAR terjangkit flu burung karena sebelumnya sempat kontak dengan hewan unggas di rumahnya. Pelajar STM di Malang ini awal mula mengalami gejala demam tinggi, batuk dan sesak napas dan gejala ini mirip dengan gejala flu burung.

Selain itu di rumah pasien juga terdapat tiga hewan unggas yang mati mendadak. Setelah diperiksa, tiga hewan unggas yang mati mendadak tersebut positif flu burung. Tim Dokter Saiful Anwar belum bisa memastikan bahwa pasien ini terjangkit flu burung. Tim dokter masih menunggu pemeriksaan sampel darah di Laboratorium Surabaya.

Sementara di Pekalongan, Jawa Tengah, seorang warga berinisial IST dirawat intensif di ruang isolasi RSUD Keraton Pekalongan, Jawa Tengah. Warga desa Rejosari, Kecamatan Bojong Pekalongan ini merupakan pasien rujukan dari Rumah Sakit Kajen Pekalongan.
Korban dibawa ke rumah sakit dengan gejala mirip flu burung yakni demam, batuk-batuk dan diare. Gejala tersebut diderita pasien setelah terjadi kasus kematian puluhan ayam secara mendadak dilingkungan tempat tinggalnya.

Tim Dokter Rumah Sakit Keraton masih melakukan tahapan observasi untuk memastikan apakah pasien benar-benar telah terinfeksi virus H5N1. (Tim Liputan/Sup)
