Must have been my answer to the 5 ways to describe myself. Maybe 'determined' was a wee bit over the top. :D

Dog vs. Cat Characteristics

11. Dogs come when you call them. Cats take a message & get back to you when they are good and ready.

10. Dogs look much better at the end of a leash.

9. Dogs will let you give them a bath without taking out a contract on your life.

8. Dogs will bark to wake you up if the house is on fire. Cats will quietly sneak out the back door.

7. Dogs will bring you your slippers or the evening newspaper. Cats might bring you a dead mouse.

6. Dogs will play Frisbee with you all afternoon. Cats will take a three-hour nap.

5. Dogs will sit on the car seat next to you. Cats have to have their own private box or they will not go at all

4. Dogs will greet you & lick your face when you come home from work. Cats will be mad that you went to work at all.

3. Dogs will sit, lie down, and heel on command. Cats will smirk and walk away.

2. Dogs will tilt their heads and listen whenever you talk. Cats will yawn and close their eyes.

1. Dogs will give you unconditional love forever. Cats will make you pay for every mistake you've ever made since the day you were born

Very funny!

I have one cat who insists that the food bowl be full before eating.

Half full in not enough! A full bowl is required even though the cat only eats a hand full of kibble at one setting.

I have tried to point out on numerous occasions that there is still plenty of food in the bowl, but I have been meowed at until I fill it to the top!

:surrender:

I know who the boss of the house is! A ten year old cat.......

Re: How Many Dogs Does It Take to Change a Light Bulb?

I followed the links from the latest book parody (heehee) and found "How Many Dogs Does it Take to Change a Light Bulb." Didn't think it would have my pup's breed, since they're not as common as some others, but there it was:
14. Australian Shepherd: First, I'll put all the light bulbs in a little circle.

Yep, that's an Aussie! When my truck-driver daughter came home for the first time with her big red Freightliner, we couldn't figure out why the dog was running around and around and around it. And then it dawned on us--it was a big red sheep!

Thanks, guys, for all the humor, made my day.

How Many Dogs Does It Take to Change a Light Bulb?

1. Golden Retriever: The sun is shining, the day is young, we've got our whole lives ahead of us, and you're inside worrying about a stupid burned out bulb?

2. Border Collie: Just one. And then I'll replace any wiring that's not up to code....

As an owner of a border collie this really made me chuckle because it is so accurate!

Our Boston Terrier Max probably is fine in the dark.
