4 killed in Rajkot 24 hours

Rajkot: Swine flu pandemic, including Rajkot, has caused panic among the people who have suffered more than four women in 24 hours. More than four people died on the number 127. The Health Department, which failed to tackle the swine flu, has now been urgently required to take effective action.

Two women of Rajkot, one Morbi and one Kukavav woman died

According to Dr Manish Mehta, 45-year-old Rajkot woman was killed in a Civil Hospital while the 45-year-old woman from Morbi broke down at a private hospital in Swan Flu. Today, 65-year-old woman from Rajkot and 65-year-old woman from Sanakali village of Kukavav broke the asthma. Currently 9 patients are treated in civil hospital. In which 8 patients are positive, their treatment has been intensified. Positive patients include Rajkot city 2, Junagadh 2, Jetpur 1, Morbi 1, Surendranagar 1, Amreli's one patient.

VADODARA: A 50-year-old man from Dalvada village of Panchmahal's Shehra taluka succumbed to swine flu on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, samples of 34 patients including 31 from Vadodara city and three from Vadodara rural were tested at state-run SSG Hospital. While samples of four patients from Vadodara city tested positive, no fresh patient tested positive of the viral infection in Vadodara rural.

Rajkot: The terror of Swine Flu continued its death march unabated as on Sunday two more people succumbed to the disease in the district. With this, the total number of the deaths increases to 138.

According to information, a 60-year-old woman from Jamnagar and a 35-year-old woman from Junagadh succumbed to the disease in private hospital of the city.

Swine flu toll in city touches 21

Surat: A 68-year-old woman from Adajan area of the city died due to swine flu here on Tuesday. This has taken the death toll in the city due to swine flu to 21 since January. The H1N1 virus had affected 370 people in Surat since January. One more swine flu patient was detected in city's Mota Varachha area on Tuesday. At present, there are six patients receiving treatment for swine flue in different hospitals of the city.

The death of a woman in Vishavdar village and the village of Moravada in Vadia

In the Swinfhu ward of Rajkot Civil Hospital, the death toll of two more women has reached 143, as the epidemic of swine flu has remained unchanged despite the humidity levels being reduced.

Hansaben Madhubhai Mangrolia, a 55-year-old woman from Vethavdar taluka, was admitted in Swainflu ward yesterday after her report was positive, and later died during treatment.

When a 35-year-old woman named Kailashben Nandlal Borisagar of Moravada village of Vadia taluka was admitted to the Swinefle ward on Wednesday, she died on the night of treatment. Three vandals and one woman have been admitted in Swainflu ward for treatment. The four reports have come positive. The death toll in Rajkot civil hospital since January last year has risen to 143 due to the swine flu in the village of Debar and Moravada.
