With over 1,000 cases in Germany, the case numbers for COVID-19 can no longer be updated and manually
quality-assured reports. Therefore, the reporting is changed. So they will
epidemiological evaluations in the COVID-19 management report only refer to those transmitted electronically

the absolute number of cases is still requested daily from the federal states.
There are a total of 1,139 (+237) laboratory-confirmed cases of coronavirus disease in Germany in 2019 (COVID-19)

Information on electronically transmitted cases

So far, out of the 1,139 laboratory-confirmed cases, a total of 514 cases from 15 federal states have been submitted to Robert
Koch Institute transmitted.
Among these cases, 286 are male (56%) and 228 female (44%). The ages range from 0 to 94 years,
including 10 children under 5 years, 11 children aged 5-14 years, 427 persons aged 15 to 59 years
and 62 people in the age group from 60 years (see Fig. 2). The age of 4 is unknown. The

Clinical information is available for 346 reported cases; 13 of these were reported to be none
symptoms significant for COVID-19. The most common symptoms mentioned were cough (202 of
346, 58%), fever (152 out of 346, 44%), and runny nose (112 out of 346, 32%). Pneumonia occurred in 76 cases
reported (2%). In addition, general symptoms such as headache, back pain, muscle pain,

Further information
For the first time, a German citizen can be proven to have died of Covid-19. It is a 60 year old
old man from Schleswig-Holstein who entered Egypt on February 22nd, 2020. Where the man got infected
is still unclear. Contact person tracking measures have been taken by the relevant authorities
