Director General Regional Hospital (hospitals) Mach Asep Purnama doctor tells us that he is managing things that need to prepare hospitals TC Hillers Mach so referral hospital handling cases of bird flu (avian influenza) in Flores. Until now we have not found bird flu cases in Flores......
.........The Ministry of Health has set 44 reference hospitals in Indonesia. So that the referral of cases of bird flu can run well, need to be prepared and agreed upon a system of referral services in the region / area of mutual administrative borders (cross-referral limit). The goal is as a guide for medical officers, paramedics, including a team of medical and non surveilens in handling cases of suspected bird flu in Flores. Another goal is to give instructions and guidelines on matters that must be done when there are reports of bird flu in humans; provide instructions on the flow chart checks before referring cases of suspected bird flu and to provide instructions and guidelines on the procedure refer patients to hospital referrals. Until now there has been no case of bird flu in Flores.
But it does not mean we stand by. We must work hard to face all possibilities that occur. We need to be vigilant.
