The NYC website clearly states 30 dead, after the second batch of 7. Not only do the two batches have the same number of fatalities, but they don't give individual ages or underlying conditions (because there are NO underlying conditions - those with underlying conditions were released earlier).The 2 separate reports of 7 dead in NYC are accurate as far as I know. Each group is also described the same way as "hospitalized in late May" which has made me wonder if they have a big backlog of deaths that they are reporting in batches. 7 dead and then 3 days later 7 more dead seems too orchestrated somehow.
