كما أدي الاستخدام المكثف للقاحات إلي حدوث ما بشبه الضغط المناعي* Immuno pressureعلي الفيروس مما أدي إلي حدوث* تحورات في الحمض النووي وان كانت تلك التحورات تشير إلي الاتجاه نحو إصابة الإنسان ولا تؤدي إلي حدوث* فشل مناعي للطيور المحصنة به*. كما إن جهود محاولة التخلص من الفيروس* غير فعالة ويرجع ذلك إلي صعوبة توفير الإمكانيات الفنية والتمويل المادي الكافي للتخلص من القطعان المحصنة المصابة بالكشف المبكر عنها وتعويض المربي والتخلص السريع منها*.
وللتعايش السلمي بين* الفيروس والإنسان لابد من الفصل التام بين مصادر* العدوي* (الطائر المصاب*) والإنسان عن طريق التحكم في الطيور الحرة وخاصة الريفية ومن أهمها الطيور المائية لما تمثله من خطورة ومعظم هذه الطيور تقبل وتحمل وتنقل العدوي إلي الطيور الأخري والإنسان ولكنها لا تتأثر بالعدوي* (عدم ظهور أعراض إكلينيكية أو نفوق*).
وتبعا لذلك كان هناك تأثير اقتصادي علي صناعة الدواجن تتمثل في خوف بعض المستثمرين من استيراد قطعان استبدال جدود التسمين بانتظام مما أدي إلي نقص المعروض من كتاكيت الأمهات وتبعا لذلك كتاكيت التسمين عمر يوم والتي تضاعف سعرها في* الوقت الراهن* . كما تسبب توطن الفيروس إلي دخول معظم قطعان إنتاج البيض التجاري مرحلة الإنتاج بعد التعرض لمشاكل نفوق إثناء فترات التربية ومن ثم نقص المعروض من البيض التجاري وارتفاع أسعاره*.

أما د*. مني محرز رئيس معهد صحة* الحيوان تقرر أنه مازال هناك تخوف من فترة الشتاء التي ينشط فيها الفيروس ولابد من التحسب والاهتمام وبالنسبة للحالة التي تم اكتشافها فهي طفلة عمرها* 21* شهرا من كرداسة بالتقصي وجدنا أن لديهم بطا كان يموت وتم ذبحه وأخذنا العينات من الفيروس ووجدناها فعلا مصابة،* كما أخذنا عينات من السطوح الذي يقومون فيه بالتربية ووجدناها مصابة أيضا ونحن حاليا لدينا مشكلة فقد اكتشفنا الاصابات البشرية قبل ان نكتشف اصابة الطيور وهو مايعني أن هناك خطأ وعدم ابلاغ* عن الطيور المصابة رغم ان الام ابلغت عن الطيور بسرعة بعد اصابة ابنتها،* لكن هذا يعني عدم وجود توعية كافية،* ونحن حاليا ندرس هذه المشكلة*.
* وتؤكد د* . مني أن هناك تطورا كبيرا في صناعة الدواجن فقد اكتملت الصناعة فالمستثمر الذي يقيم مزرعة أصبح يكمل نشاطه بمصنع للأعلاف وتدريب العمالة والنقل واللقاحات والأدوية وهذا هو المطلوب تكامل صناعي وجميع الاستثمارات الجديدة تقام في الصحراء
وتضيف د*. مني لقد وصلنا لتغطية* 60* ٪* من الانتاج بالمجازر حتي الآن ونحن في انتظار قانون منع التداول الحي الذي نتمني خروجه للنور حتي لو أعطي فترة سماح لمدة سنة أو سنتين* ،* هذا القانون سيغير نمط الأستهلاك بالتأكيد* .. لكننا نلاحظ أن هناك زيادة في الوعي عند المواطن الذي يربي الطيور المنزلية لهذا أصبح عدد البؤر الايجابية أقل فالمربي أصبح يخاف المرض* .. ومنذ ابريل الماضي لاتوجد اصابات بشرية* ،وفي المؤتمر الدولي الأخير بشرم الشيخ تم رصد* 300* مليون دولار للمكافحة ومساعدة الدول الأكثر تضررا والتي لايوجد لديها امكانات تقصي وقد أكد المؤتمر أن جنوب شرق أسيا قد حصل علي حوالي* 2* مليار دولار مساعدات،* بينما حصلت أفريقيا علي دعم مالي محدود وأصبح الدور علي أفريقيا للحصول علي دعم عالمي*.
وعن المعامل تقول رئيس معهد صحة الحيوان أن هناك مشروع توأمة بين المعمل القومي لأنفلونزا الطيور ومعمل نيو كاسل بألمانيا* ..وعلي هذا الأساس يمكن للمعمل القومي الوصول لأن يكون معمل مرجعي لشمال أفريقيا والشرق الأوسط* .. وهناك مشروع مع اليونيسيف ب8* محافظات لنشر الوعي في المدارس* ،وأعتقد أن هذا المشروع سيساعد في نشر الوعي بهذه المحافظات* .. وقد تم انشاء وحدة التتابع الجيني لمعرفة التركيب الجيني للفيروسات المعزولة في مصر لرصد أي تحور في العترات* .. وكان هذا يتم سابقا في المعامل العالمية المرجعية* ،* وبعد أن تخطت هذه الوحدة الاختبارات المهارية مع المعمل المرجعي بايطاليا وأمريكا أصبحنا نقوم بأداء العمل مباشرة مع بنك الجينات الدولي* ،* تكون جاهزة أمام العالم أجمع بأسرع وقت حتي يتم اتخاذ الاجراءات تحسبا* لحدوث أي تحورات*.
