NORWALK, CT (WFSB) - The state's fourth coronavirus-related death was reported on Friday afternoon.

Leaders said the fourth death was reported in Fairfield County.

The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Connecticut stood at 194 on Friday.

CONNECTICUT — An additional 29 new cases of coronavirus were reported in Connecticut since Friday and there was an additional coronavirus-related death, according to Gov. Ned Lamont. Around 43 people are hospitalized, which is an increase of about three people since Friday.

The latest fatal victim of the virus was a man in his 80's who was a nursing home resident in Stafford Springs. He was being treated at Johnson Memorial Hospital....

Three more fatalities have occurred in the state’s coronavirus pandemic, bringing the total to at least 11, with 415 cases confirmed, an increase of 88 from Sunday, Gov. Ned Lamont announced Monday.

SHELTON, Conn. (WTNH) — The Naugatuck Valley Health District confirmed the town of Shelton’s first coronavirus death Thursday.

The individual is a man in his 80s. He was tested for the virus postmortem, and the results came back positive.
