The percentage of total emergency department visits attributed to the “fever/flu” syndrome category remained below 5% statewide.
The percentage of outpatient visits with influenza-like illness was 1.1% of all patient visits.
The percentage of pneumonia admissions among all statewide hospital admissions remained below 5% (377 pneumonia admissions statewide)
A total of 48 persons hospitalized with influenza-associated illness have been reported to date: 5 Type A (H3N2), 2 Type A (2009 H1N1) 24 Type A unspecified, and 17 Type B.
