China - Media report: Hospital reports suspected H7N9 avian flu patient to Tengzhou CDC - Shandong province - February 23, 2017 - confirmed

as for the patient #714, followings are reported by RFA.

Age 59
Sex: Female
Name: 丁(Ding)
Place: Yangguang new village, Jishan ave. Hi-tec district, Shaoxing city, Zhejiang Province

If we can say the said information meets this case #714, we can correct the line as follows, I guess...

http://www.rfa.org/cantonese/news/birdflu-01282016075344.html

From:
#714 - I previous case referred to by Zhejiang province government post on January 28, Keqiao district, Shaoxing City, Zhejiang province
To:
#714 - Female, 59, [Ding], Diagnosed on Jan. 26, Living in Yangguang new village, Jishan ave. Hi-Tec district, Shaoxing city, Zhejiang province

Your thoughts?

I am wondering if the case #715 and the #713 are the same one.. I mean there is a doubt of overlapping..(I am not 100% sure.)

From the RFA's report which I already sent to you this morning, they are announced at the same time.
As is the case often Chinese media just do "Paste & copy" for their news article.
Though RFA is an independent media, though it is not the media of mainland side, I guess they just jumped to the news..

Hi, Sharon, how are you!
Can you sleep well? I could not sleep well these days,,, in identifying these three people using info on FluTrackers' page (https://flutrackers.com/forum/forum...-new-january-case-referred-to-january-28-2016) ...:LOL

Since Zhejiang, Fujian, Xinzhang are likely to conceal the H7N9 case's information, and even the Guangdong province has started "sweeping announcement of the cases" once a month by using the style of "Monthly report" after 2014 winter, I am almost giving up to trace the patients if every cases are bundled in every month. FluTracker, however, has changed me a lot! From the first case to the 553rd patients, we have the same list. Now except for some patients I already catch up to the 710th one. Thank you a lot for your info!!!: LOL

How do you see the above?

Thank you for your participation. My first priority is to be sure the site is running efficiently. 2nd I search for news about the novel flu that infects humans. This must be done daily.

It will take me some time to go back to old cases and review them. I will try to do this on each Saturday or Sunday. Eventually I will catch up to all the name changes and other edits. Please make your comments here and I will review them weekly.

If you post new cases here I will copy them as soon as I log on into the appropriate China H7N9 forum.

Thanks!

Sharon

Done.

As for my posting on Hubei province's comment, please correct one thing:

WRONG: including two(2) imported case
CORRECT: two(2) cases were diagnosed at other province

I am very sorry to trouble you!
From the article which I have just sent to you, we can take these two (though previously reported just as Hubei people) are diagnosed at WUHAN City.

Hi, Charon-san!
There is a news from Beijing:
China: Beijing reported an imported human H7N9 AIV case from Liaoning

Beijing reported this year's second imported human H7N9 AIV case.
He is living in Xingcheng city, Liaoning Province.

Age: 48 years old
Sex: Male
Surname: Miao
Onset: Jan. 31 2017
First treatment at local medical institution from 3-7 of Feb. 2017.
Since no improvement seen, e was transferred to a Medical Institution in Beijing for further treatment on the Feb. 8 early morning.
Bird-contact: Yes
Close contacts in Beijing: though no number is revealed, they showed no ILI symptoms.
(Close contacts in Liaoning: No announcement)

I got the following news from a news from VOA china:
I, however, cannot understand whether they are the new case (from the date of announcement of this article, it maybe the new case).
In my list, there are already 6 Sichuan cases including two(2) found in the other provinces....
(Among the said list, there are two(2) cases of whom no sex, age, surname is described when they were diagnosed on Jan. 25)
So, they might be a new case. If my understanding is correct, the VOA's "the 6th case" means to those who are diagnosed within Sichuan Province (excludes two found in other provinces...)

CHINA: Sichuan province found two(2) H7N9cases
Feb. 14, 2017 19:02
China Sichuan Province reported two(2) H7N9 avian-flu cases again.
Upto now, Sichuan province has had 6 cases in total.

Two patients are male.
One of them is 60 years old, the other is 48 years old.
A provincial staff said;
These two are in critical situation.
Those who have close contact has not any symptom yet.
The authority is taking prevention measures.

Early February, the province found a H7N9 case who was the first in the province.
China has found the country's first case in Feb. 2013.
Almost every cases are found in Winter-Spring season.
