If you look at our case list you will see numerous children cases in late 2025 to the present. Very young children. They tend to play with the family's chickens. The case list indicates to me a widespread H9N2 problem in backyard chickens - especially the southern provinces of: Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan, Hunan Jiangxi.

Only a fraction of the cases make it into any report.
