　　The Information Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs was released on July 6, and the Gangbuk District of Guigang City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, detected the African swine fever epidemic.
　　On July 6, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs received a report from the China Animal Disease Prevention and Control Center and was diagnosed by the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Animal Disease Prevention and Control Center. A pig farm in Zhongli Village, Zhongli Township, Gangbei District, Guigang City, detected the African swine fever epidemic. Up to now, the farm has 744 pigs, 42 diseases and 1 death.
　　Immediately after the outbreak, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs dispatched a steering group to guide local disposal work. The local government has started the emergency response mechanism as required, and adopted measures such as blockade, culling, harmless treatment, disinfection, etc., to treat all dead pigs and culled pigs harmlessly. At the same time, all pigs and their products are prohibited from being transferred out of the blockade, and pigs are prohibited from being transported into the blockade. At present, the above measures have been implemented.

　　The Information Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs was released on July 17, and an African swine fever epidemic occurred in Jiajiang County, Leshan City, Sichuan Province.
　　On July 17, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs received a report from the China Animal Disease Prevention and Control Center, which was diagnosed by the Sichuan Provincial Animal Disease Prevention and Control Center and an African swine fever epidemic occurred in a farm in Ganjiang Town, Jiajiang County. At the time of the outbreak, the farm had 102 pigs, 21 diseases and 21 deaths.
　　Immediately after the outbreak, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs dispatched a steering group to guide local disposal work. The local government has started the emergency response mechanism as required, and adopted measures such as blockade, culling, harmless treatment, disinfection, etc., to treat all dead pigs and culled pigs harmlessly. At the same time, all pigs and their products are prohibited from being transferred out of the blockade, and pigs are prohibited from being transported into the blockade. At present, the above measures have been implemented.

China has confirmed new cases of African swine fever in pigs transported to northeast China's Liaoning Province, the country's agriculture ministry said Saturday.

The disease was detected in three truckloads of pigs being transported into the province, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs said, citing reports from the China Animal Disease Control Center.

China on Thursday confirmed a new case of African swine fever in south China?s Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.

The disease was detected in a truckload of pigs at a highway toll station in the city of Fangchenggang in Guangxi, the ministry of agriculture and rural affairs said, citing reports from the China Animal Disease Control Centre.

Among the total of 52 pigs on the truck, 51 were infected and one died, said the report...

China to tap pork reserves as swine fever hits industry

China is set to release pork supplies from its central reserves as it moves to tackle soaring prices and shortages caused by an outbreak of swine fever.

A state-backed body will auction 10,000 tonnes of frozen pork from its strategic reserves on Thursday.

China, the world's biggest producer and consumer of pork, has struggled to control the spread of the disease.

Beijing has slaughtered more than 1 million pigs in a bid to contain the incurable pig virus.
