The Minister of Health, S?lvia Lutucuta, informed yesterday, in Luanda, that the country registered another positive case of Covid-19, of local contamination in the health fence of Futungo de Belas.
This is a six-year-old male child from the Futungo health fence, resulting from “case 26”. The minister, who was speaking at the usual Covid-19 data update press conference, said that at the moment, the country has 70 positive cases, with four deaths and 18 patients recovered.
S?lvia Lutucuta said that of the 48 active cases, one requires special attention and the others are clinically stable. From the Integrated Public Security Center, 56 calls were received, of which three reports of suspected cases and 53 related to requests for information about Covid-19. The Rapid Response Team received an alert for a suspected case, which after investigation was discarded.
The National Health Research Institute, according to the holder of the Health portfolio, received 8,112 samples, of which 70 positive, 7,192 negative and 850 are being processed. 39 citizens from Cuanza-Norte, six from Lunda-Sul, three from Lunda-Norte and one from Huambo were released from institutional quarantine.
