At least five Alaskans died and 111 suffered adverse reactions after COVID vaccines

The five deaths reported in Alaska occurred after patients received the Pfizer vaccine. This included four men and one woman between the ages of 73 and 100. The deceased all had pre-existing medical conditions before getting the shot. In at least three instances the physician who entered the data did not believe the death was directly tied to the vaccine. Two other reports, however, did not rule out the vaccine as a possible cause of death.

Nationwide, VAERS lists 329 deaths in the wake of COVID vaccines. About 65% of these individuals were between 65 and 75 years old. Another 9,845 instances of adverse reactions are listed from all across the country.

Of the 111 adverse reactions in Alaska, 59 included anaphylactic reaction and 45 required emergency doctor/room visits. In most cases patients suffering adverse reactions experienced some combination of chest tightness, difficulty breathing, wheezing, coughing, swelling of lips, mouth and tongue, heart palpitations, severe dizziness, rashes and pain at the injection site.

A 29-year-old woman from Alaska endured severe high blood pressure and nausea, along with rash and hives on her arm and face after taking the Pfizer vaccine in December. Her reaction included head and body aches, chills and high fever. This happened within 20-30 minutes of taking the vaccine. She was admitted to the emergency room twice over two days with unresolved complications.

In another report a woman said she was breastfeeding her five-month-old son just four hours after receiving the vaccine. Two days later, while in daycare, the boy fell limp and was in and out of consciousness. He also suffered a body rash and was taken to the emergency department where he recovered that day and was released....

The patient's family said she had a history of heart illness, said Dr. Michael E. Morris, director of Kaiser Permanente Southern California’s vaccination program, in a statement.


The woman "passed away unexpectedly" Friday after receiving Pfizer's version of the Covid-19 vaccine about noon at the Kaiser-run site at Cal Poly Pomona, 30 miles east of downtown Los Angeles, the doctor said.

"While seated in the observation area after the injection, the patient complained of feeling discomfort and while being evaluated by medical personnel, she lost consciousness," he said. "Paramedics on scene began CPR almost immediately and continued, but she ultimately could not be revived."

Her cause of death was yet to be determined, but the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health said by email that there were no signs of allergic or anaphylactic reactions....

GLOUCESTER — State and federal agencies are investigating a Gloucester woman’s death that happened a couple of hours after she received a coronavirus vaccination, says Dr. Danny Avula, the state’s vaccine coordinator.

Drene Keyes, 58, died after getting a first dose of the Pfizer-Biontech vaccine Saturday in the town of Warsaw. Keyes waited 15 minutes after the shot to be observed by health care providers on site, but soon after experienced vomiting and trouble breathing. She was taken to Riverside Tappahannock Hospital, where she died...

GLOUCESTER, Va. - It has been 18 days since Lisa Jones unexpectedly lost her mother, Drene Keyes, and she still has no answers as to how or why she died.

"She told me the full autopsy would not reveal anything that would associate the vaccine with her death," Jones went on to say.

State Health Commissioner Norman Oliver told News 3 in a statement Tuesday:

"No full autopsy was performed on Ms. Keyes because it was not necessary in order to determine whether her death was caused by anaphylaxis."​

Oliver went on to say further questions needed to be directed to the Chief Medical Examiner, who has not returned our emails.

Jones told News 3 toxicology tests were performed on her mother, but there are no results as of yet. She also told us the Medical Examiner's Office did do something called a Tryptase test.

"Her tryptase levels did not indicate an allergic response," she said....

Jones feels more tests should have been performed before releasing her mother's body.

"I think there is a lot we don't know on how the vaccine works in people with underlying health conditions," she said...

Hanna Rewerts, 27, is a physical therapist and has been tested for COVID-19 at least once a week since the pandemic started.

She says she got her first positive test just days ago.

?I was shocked, you know,? Rewerts told News 6. ?Immediately I?m like, ?This has to be a false-positive. This can?t be right.??

But multiple tests confirmed it.

She said she was shocked because she is also fully vaccinated.

As a health care worker, Rewerts had her first dose of the Pfizer vaccine in December 2020, according to her vaccine card. Her second dose was three weeks later in January.

I would stay cautious with vulnerable people, even if vaccinated with any of the vaccines. WA state is having some possible trouble. They will be studying what strains/vaccines/batches might be involved and should have data by the end of the month.
