A female doctor who took Pfizer's covid19 in the North American country of Mexico has been admitted to the hospital's intensive care unit (ICU) after having seizures, difficulty breathing and encephalomyelitis. This information has been given by Mexico's Health Ministry in a statement issued on Saturday.

As the ministry said in its statement, "A 32-year-old female doctor is suffering from skin rash, seizures, muscle weakness and breathing problems within half an hour of applying the drug manufacturer Pfizer's corona vaccine."...

Two days after being administered the Pfizer coronavirus jab, a Portugese health worker suffered a 'sudden death' at home on New Year's day.

Sonia Acevedo, a 41-year old woman who worked in paediatrics at the Portuguese Institute of Oncology in Porto, had posted a picture of herself after getting the shot on Facebook.

Acevedo's daughter Vania Figueredo said her mother had only complained about 'normal' discomfort in the area where she was jabbed but was otherwise fine.

The deceased's father Abilo Acevedo told Portugese daily Correio da Manha: "She was okay. She hadn't had any health problems."

"She had the Covid-19 vaccine but she didn't have any symptoms. I don't know what happened. I just want answers."..

He is reported to have recovered. A doctor thought perhaps the forehead thermometer was inaccurate and recommended using an oral one instead. (But maybe the forehead one safer depending on the state of the patient?)

Chris of East Hampstead, New Hampshire, received his second dose of COVID-19 vaccine on Sunday. On Monday, he developed a fever. “He was bright red,” his wife Sue Troy told WBZ. “I touched his forehead, we took his temperature, and it was 105.5.”

Because of the quick spike in temperature, the family’s primary doctor advised them to go to the nearest Emergency Room, to roll down the windows on the way to cool him down, and to put a cold compress on Chris’ neck. “That made me really nervous,” Sue said...

Doctors in Norway have been told to conduct more thorough evaluations of very frail elderly patients in line to receive the Pfizer BioNTec vaccine against covid-19, following the deaths of 23 patients shortly after receiving the vaccine.

“It may be a coincidence, but we aren’t sure,” Steinar Madsen, medical director of the Norwegian Medicines Agency (NOMA), told The BMJ. “There is no certain connection between these deaths and the vaccine.”...

Berlin: Experts at the Paul Ehrlich Institute in Germany are investigating 10 deaths shortly after being vaccinated against the new coronavirus disease. BrigitteKeller-Stanislawski is Head of Safety for Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices. Said on Thursday.

According to medical experts, the deceased were 79 to 93 years old and all had predecessor illnesses. The time from vaccination to death ranged from hours to 4 days.

In late December, Germany launched a vaccination campaign against COVID-19 using vaccines developed by Pfizer and BioNTech. As of this date, 842,000 people have been vaccinated. People over the age of 80, nursing home residents and staff, and healthcare professionals are the first to be vaccinated.

The institute also reported six cases of anaphylaxis. So far, there have been cases of side effects allegedly related to 325 vaccines, including 51 serious ones. Keller-Stanislawski said these results were within expectations and corresponded to US vaccination statistics. (ANI / Sputnik)...

A Florida physician developed an unusual blood disorder shortly after he received the Pfizer vaccine. It is not yet known if the shot is linked to the illness.

Health authorities are investigating the case of a Florida doctor who died from an unusually severe blood disorder 16 days after receiving the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine.
Dr. Gregory Michael, a 56-year-old obstetrician and gynecologist in Miami Beach, received the vaccine at Mount Sinai Medical Center on Dec. 18 and died 16 days later from a brain hemorrhage, his wife, Heidi Neckelmann, wrote in a Facebook post.
Shortly after receiving the vaccine, Dr. Michael developed an extremely serious form of a condition known as acute immune thrombocytopenia, which prevented his blood from clotting properly.
In a statement, Pfizer, the maker of the vaccine, said it was “actively investigating” the case, “but we don’t believe at this time that there is any direct connection to the vaccine.”...

The federal agency for medicines and health products (FAMHP) has started an enquiry into the case of an 82-year-old man who died five days after receiving the first dose of vaccination against Covid-19.

The man, a care home resident who was among the first wave of people to receive the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, which requires two doses administered 21 days apart to be fully effective. The man had pre-existing medical problems.

According to the agency, an enquiry will now be carried out to discover if there was a direct link between the vaccination and the man’s death. ..

Tim Zook’s last post on Facebook brimmed with optimism. “Never been so excited to get a shot before,” he wrote on Jan. 5, above a photo of the Band-Aid on his arm and his COVID-19 vaccination card. “I am now fully vaccinated after receiving my 2nd Pfizer dose.”

Zook, 60, was an X-ray technologist at South Coast Global Medical Center in Santa Ana. A couple of hours later, he had an upset stomach and trouble breathing. By 3:30 p.m. it was so bad his colleagues at work walked him to the emergency room. “Should I be worried?” his wife, Rochelle, texted when she got the news. “No, absolutely not,” he texted back. “Do you think this is a direct result of the vaccine?” she typed. “No, no,” he said. “I’m not sure what. But don’t worry.”...

PLACER COUNTY, Calif. - Authorities have determined that the coronavirus vaccine was not a contributing factor to a Northern California man's death at the beginning of the month, authorities said Saturday.

"Clinical examination and lab results have determined the COVID-19 vaccine has been ruled out as a contributing factor in the individual’s death," the Placer County Sheriff's Office wrote in a post on Facebook.

... Authorities say that the 64-year-old man was employed as a healthcare worker at a facility in Placer County. He began complaining of side effects within ten minutes of vaccination ...

The department said Saturday that throughout their investigation, they learned that not only had he recently been diagnosed with COVID-19, he also had underlying health issues, and had been exhibiting symptoms of the illness at the time the vaccine was administered.


... An investigation remains underway in Southern California after an Orange County health care worker died four days after receiving his second dose of Pfizer's coronavirus vaccine. The coroner said that Tim Zook's cause of death is inconclusive for now, and further toxicology testing will take months.
