Fatalities grouped by week by sort date (earliest available of these four options onset/hospitalization/death/report). There appears to be three distinct peaks, but the story is a little more complex. The first peak was mainly due to fatalities in Maharashtra, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, with small contributions from Gujarat and Delhi. The second peak was mostly fatalities from Gujarat, Rajasthan and Delhi, with Maharashtra contributing also. The current third peak began with Kerala, then Maharashtra took over as the major contributor, then Delhi and Karnataka, now increasing numbers of fatalities are coming from Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan.
