Saron (Under Mahur PHC, cases:4, population: 1204), 3. Boro-wapu (under Boro-wapu SC. case: 1, population : 335) 6 0 02/05/2012 2012-05-02 15:29:36 1698 On 1st May, 2012, one no of case came under notice by Dr. L. Rema, Supdtt. of Haflong Civil Hospital and 5 nos of cases came under notice by Dr. H.S. Suri at Haflong Civil Hospital. They found the cases as Fever with Jaundice. Pf and Pv : Both Negative. Widal Test : O Antigen, H Antigen, AH Antigen & BH Antigen : All are non rection. HBs Ag : Negative. HCV : Negative. Dr. F. T. Amo, DSO, IDSP, Dima Hasao, Addl. CM & HO, Dima Hasao, ic Joint Director of Health Services of Dima Hasao, instructed the ic of Mahur BPHC to conduct house hold survey immediately in affected villages. Investigation Open No

Fever Nambiyur Block,Gettiseviyur PHC,Talguni SHC,Boyar Colony,Arasankuttia Pudur 3 0 27/02/2012 2012-05-02 10:49:45 320 Totally 67 houses have been surveyed and1 case deducted having symptoms of fever,Joint pain . 1 serum sample sent to Zonal Entomological team,coimbatore. Result:-ve House to House Intensive fever Surveillance, case detection , Mosquito breeding source Reduction .Totally 67 houses have been surveyed and 108 containers were examined and Anti Larval Work done and Health education activities are being carriedout in the affected village. Typhoid Talavady Block,Geermalam PHC,Sujilkarai SHC,Sujilkarai Village 24 0 16/04/2012 2012-05-02 10:57:21 865 Totally 214 houses have been surveyed and 24 fever case identified having symptoms of fever,rigor.Two cases admitted in Sathyamangalam Govt.Hospital and found positive for Typhoid. 24 Blood Smear Collected from the fever cases and examined and found for -ve for Malaria.11 serum sample sent to IVC&Z,Hosur and found -ve for Scrub Typhus . House to House Intensive fever Surveillance and case detection done .Spot Chlorination done in each house hold water storages and Chlorination done in well.IEC Activities carried out.The Local Body authorities are instructed to repair the Bore well immediately.Until then they are instructed to supply protected water to the public by lorries.
