Here's the story, (relevant part starts at about 13:30), of another Youtube fulltime RV'er who got sick with what could have been COVID. All tests were negative, including antibodies, but both her allopathic doctors think she did have COVID. She finally recovered after a naturopath tested her zinc and vit A levels and found them low, (common in vegans), and the naturopath also recommended high doses of vit C, (I think it was 4,000 to 6,000mg or until bowel symptoms). Carolyn took the zinc and C but didn't have any A, (probably hard to find a vegan source). She recovered quickly with those two. The naturopath thought she had had COVID also.
Who knows what is going on, but something that does not test positive in any way for COVID is or was going around. Virologists say that the virus has not changed much, but they probably aren't getting samples of these types of cases.

She says she was previously employed by the state of Florida to help tally the Florida COVID-19 statistics and maintain the state website. We post her numbers alongside Florida's official numbers as a public service on our Florida thread. link

Now she is alleging a conspiracy inside Florida government to manipulate numbers. She says she has confirmed this.

If the Florida government is artificially lowering actual case and deaths figures those responsible should be prosecuted for endangering the public.

Likewise, if Ms. Jones is perpetuating a fraud upon the public she should be held accountable.

COVID-19 is a public health threat and in this day of phone cameras and sophisticated technology - the truth will be exposed.

Former Florida data official creates her own Covid-19 site that shows more cases than state reports

(CNN)The data official behind Florida's Covid-19 dashboard says she has launched her own dashboard after being removed from the state's project.

Rebekah Jones was removed from the state's scrutinized dashboard project after she questioned other officials' commitment to accessibility and transparency, according to Florida Today.
Last month, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis contested Jones' claims. The Florida Department of Health (DOH) said she had "exhibited a repeated course of insubordination" during her tenure there.

... However, Jones parallels her data alongside DOH's coronavirus numbers, which are much lower, according to the website.

"DOH publishes total cases, not positive people," the website says. "Additionally, cases are not currently created for those who receive positive antibody test results, and so DOH excludes them from that total. We show the total number of people who have definitive lab results showing they have or have had COVID-19 regardless of the type of test."

Isn't it nasty the way unrelated criminal charges can be dug up and used to discredit whistleblowers? So we have some states allegedly playing with statistics to meet CDC's reopening guidelines. At the other end of the spectrum we have my state (WA) criminalizing those not wearing masks. They will set up citizens for the same type of nasty discrediting that Jones is experiencing if they charge people, let alone convict them. But this keeps the numbers down so reopening can proceed. That is all these states care about.

So...out of curiosity I looked up the software that Ms. Jones is apparently using because the amount of money raised is staggering. And the goal is 500k?

It appears - and I could be wrong - that her software cost $800 for a business and $100 for an individual. Please someone - check on this for me....

The vbulletin software package cost about $300 at the time we started so I had a feeling the arcgis software that many entities are using had to be reasonably priced. Maybe Ms. Jones is using some super duper version of arcgis that costs in the tens of thousands?

Presumably the money is more to get the data rather than to process it.
That said, I've no idea whether there is any public access to this information, health records are subject to the HIPAA rules..

Her claims that the case and death numbers are getting massaged is most troublesome, as that seems possible, given most victims have comorbidities. It seems pretty pointless though, as the virus rebound elsewhere makes the state numbers individually irrelevant.

So there's a name for the chronic COVID cases - long haulers. Some never test positive like Carolyn the RV'er I posted about above. At least she had 3 MD's, one a specialist in hematology who all agreed she was sick for months from COVID. A doctor in the article below says a lot of sufferers are being medically gaslighted which is devastating.
Since getting nutritional status testing and correction by an ND helped Carolyn, I hope more patients can explore that option. Most US states allow patients to order tests themselves online. I've had good experience with Ultalabs and Requestatest. The results are reviewed by a doctor then if something is out of range, you are supposed to see your own doctor. There are some MD's who do this work. They might be in the field of functional medicine. Maybe nutritionists, too.

I was looking at some of the Worldometer data and Florida had 8,530 new cases and 9,585 yesterday, per capita this is pretty close to NY city at its peak. Of todays cases Miami-Dade (pop. 2.7m) accounted for 2,152 that is more than the total for the UK, Spain, Italy & Germany.

　　When confirmed cases and suspected cases of new coronavirus pneumonia are found, the centralized air conditioning and ventilation systems corresponding to the active areas of the confirmed and suspected cases should be shut down immediately, and the centralized air conditioning and ventilation systems in the above areas should be immediately cleaned and disinfected.

I don't know what is going on except it appears many people were not wearing masks and were gathering in large groups. Also - don't forget - this is summer in Florida. Very hot. Most people are spending a large portion of their time indoors. This is opposite of what other parts of the country do in summer.
