Tehran - IRNA - Adviser to the Minister of Health and Medical Education said that the corona virus has so far had four definitive cases in Iran, four of which have been killed.

Alireza Vahabzadeh wrote on Twitter on Friday: "The results of testing four suspected patients in Tehran were positive. Seven new cases have been confirmed in Qom and two in Rasht. Two new patients have died.

"In total, so far, there have been three cases of definitive coronary heart disease, four of which have died," he said. A number of suspects are also hospitalized and under surveillance.

Health Minister Saeed Nemaki told reporters on Thursday evening that there were five cases of new coronary heart disease in the country, two of which he said were dead. Now, with two new deaths reported, the death toll has risen to four in the country, with a total of nine deaths. (I think this means 9 cases)

The health minister had announced the number of people suspected of having the coronavirus virus in four of the country's hospitals, with five of them confirmed today.

According to the latest laboratory reports, 2 other people, including 4 people, are infected #قم , 1 person at #تهران , 1 person at #گیلان Confirmed. Unfortunately, 5 people have died. Most cases are still from Qom residents or have had a history of returning from Qom in recent days and weeks.

TEHRAN: Iran on Saturday reported 10 new Covid-19 coronavirus cases and one new death, bringing the total number of deaths in the Islamic republic to five and infections to 28.

"We have 10 new confirmed cases of Covid-19," health ministry spokesman Kianoush Jahanpour said on state television.

"One of the new cases has unfortunately passed away," he added, noting that eight of them have been hospitalised in Qom and two in Tehran, without specifying where the death occurred...
