Re: Happy 5th Anniversary to the FluTrackers Team!
What a great community. I have really enjoyed getting to know folks here and I have learned so much being a part of this site. Reporting on deaths gets a bit grim at times, but I take heart knowing that we are helping in ways I cannot even imagine.
Thank you Sharon for letting me be a part of the team.

JimO - I am not "letting" you be part of the team. lol It is an honor that you give so much time. The charts and other information you post are very illuminating. It will be great to meet you and your wife next time I am in your town.
Re: Happy 5th Anniversary to the FluTrackers Team!
Congratulations Sharon, Sally and all FT members!
Going back in memory... to the pandemic 2009, I remember our fight for school closure, Treyfish Dead Children thread .... A lot of stories, some with good endings, many so sad.
One touched me particularly. It was about a college student in North Carolina. Her name was Lillian. I still remember the night that her death was published. I posted it with tears falling on my computer board . Not always easy to be a flu tracker.
But there is always hope that one more post will help one more person and I guess this is why I am here.
Concerning the French Forum, about 50% of the French-speaking population of the world live in Africa. These people are challenged with conflicts, extreme poverty, hunger and so many grave diseases, underlining the great urgency to bring them information in their own language. Sadly, the information is very limited and I wish French-speaking Africans would participate in the forum.
And Sharon, thank you for taking this challenge 5 years ago. I am blessed to be part of such a great team.
FluTrackers.com is a joint effort of a lot of members who participate.
But Sharon, you are the heart of Flutrackers.com, your personal approach made it a succes !
Congratulations and thank you very much !
