Chatham County reports H1N1 Death

North Carolina DHHS website is reporting 8 deaths:

72 new cases this week.
Case counts are updated once a week on Wednesdays by 3:30 pm.

Confirmed cases: 554
Eight (8) deaths in North Carolina are linked to H1N1: 1 in Buncombe, 1 in Carteret, 1 in Chatham, 1 in Cherokee, 2 in Guilford, 1 in Transylvania, 1 in Wilson County.

Newest fatality is in Chatham County.
