UNL student remembered for positivity, loving attitude

...Kyle had experienced a cold the previous week and started vomiting on March 6. His roommates left him to rest in his apartment at The View and then found him unresponsive Friday afternoon. He was taken to the ICU at Bryan West Hospital, where he remained unresponsive and on a ventilator until he died around 11:30 Sunday evening.
When he arrived at the hospital, Kyle tested positive for Influenza A. After about four days in the hospital, though, lab work showed a negative test for the same virus. The actual virus that infected his brain is unknown...
