    GRANVILLE, N.Y. - Edwin F. Nagell, 53, of Longmont, Colo., and formerly of Granville, N.Y., died Jan. 27, 2010, at the University of Colorado Hospital in Denver, due to complications of the H1N1 (swine) flu.

    He was born in Rutland, Vt., May 28, 1956, the son of Raymond and Geraldine Nagell.

    He attended Granville High School and served in the U.S. Navy.

    Mr. Nagell enjoyed sales and worked for various auto dealerships, receiving many awards. He owned and operated small businesses out of his home in Colorado.

    He was an avid hunter and enjoyed spending time in the mountains and attending rodeos and the Denver Stock Show.

    Survivors include a daughter, Jessica, and his former wife, Tracy Waite Nagell, both of Northglenn, Colo.; a brother, James Nagell of Proctor, Vt., and three sisters, Bonnie Shaw of North Granville, N.Y., Roxanne English of Virginia Beach, Va., and Penny Rodrigues of Granville, N.Y.; many nieces and nephews.

    He was predeceased by his parents and two infant brothers, Robert and Kenneth.

    The memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at the Robert M. King Funeral Home, 23 Church St., Granville, N.Y., where friends may call from 1 p.m. prior to the service.
