Pandemic Flu Summit

Thursday, February 16th, 2006, the state is holding a "Pandemic Readiness and Emergency Planning Summit" in Tallahassee. It will occur from 2:00 to 5:00 PM. Home viewing will be available on Comcast Channel 11 and Time Warner Channel 16.
Vital information for communities, business owners and individuals will be presented by nationally recognized experts during this important Summit, presented by the Florida Department of Health, The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Governor Jeb Bush and Florida's community leaders will join Secretary Michael Leavitt, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Julie Gerberding, M.D., M.P.H., Director, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
