Maine (ME)- Highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) H5N1 Eurasian lineage goose/Guangdong clade 2.3.4.4b was confirmed in a wild red fox (Vulpes vulpes). Michigan (MI)- Highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) H5N1 Eurasian lineage goose/Guangdong clade 2.3.4.4b was confirmed in a wild red fox (Vulpes vulpes).
