    Multistate Investigation of Suspected Infections Following Steroid Injections

    States that have received recalled methylprednisolone acetate (MPA) product from Main Street Family Pharmacy since December 1, 2012.





    This information is current as of May 30, 2013

    Pharmacy records indicate that MPA products were distributed to facilities in 17 states since December 1, 2012 including: Alabama, Arkansas, California, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Montana, Mississippi, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas. These states have been notified and are in the process of working with the affected facilities in order to contact patients who received recalled MPA.
