Re: Anyone else suffering from FluTrackers OCD?
Yes! Again. I thought I broke out for good, but now I'm baaaaccckkk!"In the beginning of change, the patriot is a scarce man (or woman https://flutrackers.com/forum/core/i...ilies/wink.png), and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for it then costs nothing to be a patriot."- Mark TwainReason obeys itself; and ignorance submits to whatever is dictated to it. -Thomas Paine

Re: Anyone else suffering from FluTrackers OCD?
I'm in the healthcare setting as you can see......I can tell you that the ED's & Hosp's don't have the capacity for anything serious.....we don't have the beds, or the physicians, nurses or other support staff to flex up very much. Hospitals will have to keep patients they are used to sending to academic centers....I've sat here hours decompressing from a tough high admission day....and wondering if we get a surge of serious pts....what my future days will be like......my mother has leukemia (chronic type) but is suspectible, my dad is in his 80's, I have 2 kids 21 & 25....and I wonder if I'll be one of those experienced nurses who will choose family over duty......I think the answer will be yes.... and I am one of those hard core - stand by your side no matter what RN's.....so if I"m thinking this.....what of others......

Re: Anyone else suffering from FluTrackers OCD?
I work in a hospital, though in non-direct patient care (information technology). Although we treat cancer exclusively, I do wonder if we would be pressed into service in the event of, say, a repeat of 1918.
I have a daughter with cystic fibrosis and am terribly afraid, not only of her contracting the flu (and Cf patients are highly susceptible to pneumonia), but also that my wife and/or myself might be incapacitated, making it more difficult to care for either of the kids, let alone the one who needs the added care.Wotan (pronounced Voton with the ton rhyming with on) - The German Odin, ruler of the Aesir.

Im a newbe on the site. I have been lurking for months. Its the only link I have saved on my IE browser. I don't know which is worse my bass fishing site during spawn of this site in a crisis? I manufacture airquality systems for a living and our phones have been ringing nonstop since Monday for containment equipment.

I've tried to set limits on my internet usage since I first started using it 14 years ago. I still can't do it.
