According to the Center for Strategic Information for Health Surveillance (CIEVS), the victim was admitted, the principle in Arthur Ramos Memorial Hospital. On May 29, she was transferred to the University Hospital H?lvio Auto, the reference state for the treatment of infectious diseases. The procedure was adopted because the patient had high fever, dyspnea and respiratory failure, according to the medical record.

"Until the outcome of the Fiocruz not be disclosed everything is suspected, even before the symptoms that point to a death caused by H1N1 virus. But it is important to emphasize that the victim was a cardiac patient and used medication for three years. This only reinforces the importance of vaccinating against the flu, "warns Sandra Canuto.
