Of 229 confirmed cases of Influenza A, 30 people died and eight were deaths among pregnant women. The cities with the highest number of recorded deaths were Bethlehem with six, followed by Cameta with four. Among the municipalities Ananindeua, Santarem and Parauapebas, two deaths were recorded in each.
The other 14 deaths were reported in the cities of Barcarena (1), Benevides (1), Braga (1), Castanhal (1), Capanema (1), Curuçá (1), Igarapé-Miri (1), Jacundá (1) , Moju (1), New Repartimento (1), Oriximiná (1), Paragominas (1), Santa Maria do Pará (1), Thailand (1).

Immunization - This week started the 6th stage of the campaign for children aged two to under five years. The campaign also continues to priority groups in municipalities that have not yet reached the goal of vaccination.
Prevention - Remember though to avoid any contagion of respiratory illness you should cover your mouth and nose when you sneeze, preferably using disposable tissue, not sharing cups, cutlery, objects, food, wash hands with soap and water frequently and avoid staying in crowded environments.
