    The Influenza To, popular pig flu, killed pregnant in the State of the Maranhão, in the Pará and in the Amazon in 2010. The informations are of the state general offices of health of each State. A part was already presenting problems of health.

    In the Maranhão, 54 suspect cases were notified, between 4 and 24 of March, among which 14 are of deaths for the flu – three they were pregnant women.

    In the Pará, of 351 cases notified between 3 of January to 20 of March, 22 deaths took place. Of this, seven were pregnant women.

    The State of the Amazon registers 13 confirmed cases of the disease up to the day 24 of March, being that five took the patients to the death. Two victims were pregnant.

    Another four pregnant women killed in the last week in the Piauí are between the suspect cases of pig flu in the State. The examinations of the pregnant women were directed to the Institute Adolpho Lutz and the authorities wait for the result.
