Franca reported three deaths from influenza
The Health Department of France confirmed, on Thursday (29), that two women and one man died due to influenza H1N1 influenza.
The identity of the victims was not provided. It is only known that these were indigenous case, that is, of people who lived in the city.
According to data provided by the secretary, a woman died on July 25 at the age of 26; the 47-year-old man died a day later; and the third victim, 61 years old and chronic heart disease, died on July 28. The elderly woman had not received the vaccine offered for her age group.
The confirmation came through examinations made at the Adolfo Lutz Institute in Ribeir?o Preto. According to Health Secretary Jos? Conrado Netto, from January until now the municipality's Epidemiological Surveillance has received 99 notifications of the disease and 77 of them gave negative result. Of the eleven confirmed cases - including the three obitos - nine were from people in France and only two from outside.
