    The first death of 2015 in Santa Catarina by Swine Flu, H1N1, was confirmed by the Board of Directors of Epidemiological Surveillance (Dive). A man of 57 years died in the early hours of Monday (11) in the Vine, in the West of Santa Catarina.
    The victim lived in the city. The man was approximately two weeks admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of the hospital Grapevine and couldn't resist.


    The Epidemiological Surveillance of the municipality stated that, as he was not part of the priority group for vaccination against the H1N1 virus, was not vaccinated over the public network. In spite of this, I did not say whether he had been vaccinated by their own account.


    Confirmed cases of swine flu
