The Director of the Departmental Service of Health, Roberto Amusquivar, at a press conference yesterday confirmed the death of the first person infected with influenza A-H1N1 in the department, is a student 33 years of age who died on Monday afternoon in San Juan de Dios Hospital.
"On Monday morning they found the patient with respiratory disease who have first consulted a health facility in the municipality and label it as a suspected case was the complication that was brought to the third level Hospital San Juan de Dios and in hours in the afternoon have died, "the health authority.
According to laboratory tests for the patient, health ombudsmen made by yesterday (Tuesday) has been reported that this is a confirmed positive case.
BACKGROUND

CASES
