    (Agencies)-A total of 169 cases of influenza A (H1N1) and 1,500 suspected cases were confirmed by the Ministry of health, which launched on 25 May a campaign of vaccination of children under two years, adults over 65 years of age and patients with pathologies base.


    In less than a week, cases of influenza A (H1N1) in the country increased from 152 from May 25th to 169 on May 30. Responsible for the programme Influenza of the Ministry of health Adolfo Zarate said that the Department with the highest incidence is Santa Cruz.
    The Deputy Minister Mart?n Maturano reported that two people were killed in Santa Cruz, a by AIDS and the second because of a kidney infection. On April 5 the health authorities of the Department of Beni reinforced measures of health monitoring an outbreak of influenza A (H1N1) in fencing and Marb?n provinces. So far, 13 cases of influenza and 38 suspects had been detected.
