The influenza A virus H1N1 and authorities advances reinforce the control measures. On instructions from the Departmental Health Service (Headquarters), a private school yesterday suspended its activities for a period of one week, after four children tested positive evil.
According to the report of the Headquarters, in the last ten days has doubled the cases of novel influenza, so the total number infected to date 181. In the last 100 confirmed, at least 30 are children of school age, reports indicate.
In this situation, health authorities, in coordination with the Department of Education (DDE), have instructed filters strengthen prevention and control measures in the schools.
One is the temporary closure of the educational establishment to submit more than three infected children in different courses, as happened with the school that closed its doors yesterday.
According to Dorian Jimenez, the Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI), affected children treated with Tamiflu, while the establishment shall be subjected to disinfection. It is recommended that partners do not get together on their own, to maintain the quarantine.
