Pneumonia caused death to 227 people this year

Arequipa. A few days to complete by 2012, the Regional Health Management (Gersa) reported that 227 people died of pneumonia. Only 7% of this amount is less than five years, the rest are adults, mostly elderly.

According to the Bureau of Epidemiology Gersa, pneumonia increased by 6.7% compared to 2011. Reports indicate that the low temperatures caused, for example, the death of two people last week, in districts such as Cerro Colorado and Viraco (Castilla).
