A SWINE-FLU outbreak at Adelaide Cougars Netball Club has forced Netball SA to postpone tonight?s Premier League match against Contax.
At least two Cougars players have been confirmed with the illness, prompting the decision.
Cougars President John Carragher said postponing the match was the only way to ensure more players did not get sick.
?There has been an infection within the group and we?re working hard to contain it as best we can,? he said.
Opposition coach Margaret Angove was informed of the postponement at 1:00pm and supported the decision.
?If it?s a public health risk then I wouldn?t want my players exposed to it,? she said.
Netball SA is yet to issue a statement but said the players? health and well-being is of paramount importance.
