This case is not listed on the Qatar Supreme Council site yet. Also, if confirmed by WHO this will be the 13th Qatari coronavirus MERS case. Per WHO standards cases are assigned to country of origin, not where hospitalized, nor where death occurs. To use the latter does not give an accurate epidemiological picture of the situation. Qatar has exported 3 cases in the past:

#4 - Man, 49, onset date September 3, 2012, traveled to UK for treatment Death

#6 - Man, 45, onset date October 12, 2012, traveled to Germany for treatment - recovered

#116 - Man, 66, retroactively identified, onset date May 1 and died on May 10 in Tunisia , history of travel to Qatar & Saudi Arabia, father of cases #42 & #43 - Qatar Death note

I will wait for WHO confirmation or a post on the MoH site before adding to our list. In the past Qatar quickly notifies WHO of such cases.
