    Puebla 716 thousand reported cases of Influenza A H1N1

    In recent weeks the number of infections has decreased significantly.

    Puebla, Puebla .- The state of Puebla remains in 17th place nationally in terms of confirmed cases of Influenza A H1N1.

    Until 2 December the body Puebla thousand had infected 701 people, increasing to 716 thousand according to the report furnished by the Federal Ministry of Health until 23 December (although the Health Services of the State of Puebla, which are a thousand relate 714).

      Having spent four days this year, Puebla has reported no human influenza, then it closed 2009 with a thousand patients 714 cases and five deaths by the disease, according to Deputy Director of Epidemiology, Health Services, Araceli Cordova Soria.

      According to the federal official, a total of 3 thousand 798 samples sent to National Institute of Epidemiological Reference (Indre), 54.8 percent tested positive for influenza A H1N1.

      A breakdown of number of positive cases by Health Jurisdiction, 947 cases belong to Puebla in Zacapoaxtla recorded 161 cases in Tehuacan 140, Huauchinango 99, Huejotzingo 85, Dry 70, Rodriguez Tepexi 62, Chignahuapan 51, Acatl?n of Osorio 49 e Izucar de Matamoros 43, and 7 cases of poblanos were detected in other entities.

      As regards gender, 901 (53%) positive cases were women and 813 (47%) while men, by age group, 688 (40%) are children and a thousand 26 (60%) adults.

      Soria Cordoba stressed the importance of the whole society united in efforts to continue to work together on preventive measures against influenza AH1N1 like sneezing on the inside of the elbow, constant washing of hands, not exposed to sudden changes temperature, since in the winter increases the number of respiratory diseases and the population becomes vulnerable to these infections.

        ?Health secretary denied the state of Puebla Alfredo Arango Garcia has been raised to 50 the number of deaths from influenza A (H1N1) and stressed that only have, at the time, 5 confirmed deaths from this disease and are under study file 60 cases.In an interview with state official said he did not have high numbers of patients by this evil and stressed that until receiving notice of the authorities of the Indre.

          Ministry of Health detects 50 deaths from influenza in Puebla

          Between 10 April, when Mexico recorded the first human death from influenza, and on 14th of this month, Puebla added 50 deaths by the disease, according to information from the Ministry of Health.

          The H1N1 influenza virus has already caused 45 deaths in January and in February 2010. This exceeds the records of June, with only 7 deaths recognized and August with a total of 37 cases.
          According to this information, in April last year there were 62 deaths there, 72 May, 83 in July and 171 in September, 322 October, 172 in November and 67 December. The latest death Feb. 4 corresponds to a resident of San Luis Potosi, a single man of 40 years of age.

          The epidemiological report states that in Ontario there are 135 deaths (an additional); Mexico State 127 (2 additional deaths), San Luis Potosi 55 (an additional), Oaxaca 51, Puebla 50 (an additional) 49 Jalisco (one more); Baja California 48, Guanajuato 43 (an additional) and Nuevo Leon 46 (4 additional); Aguascalientes 42; Chihuahua 41 Chiapas 40 (one more but in July), Queretaro 35, Hidalgo 29; Michoacan Zacatecas 28 and Veracruz 27 each one.

          Just as, Yucat?n 21 (one more); Morelos 18; Tamaulipas 18 (one more), Sonora, Coahuila, Tlaxcala and 15 (one more in the latter state), Guerrero and Sinaloa 13; Durango 12 each; Baja California Sur Nayarit 11 each; Tabasco 3, Quintana Roo 2, 1 and Colima Campeche 1.

          Of the total deaths, 532 are men and 509 women. In this group there were 540 married, 321 single, 102 were living in consensual union, 34 were widowed, 17 divorced and in 27 cases was not specified.

            The Ministry of Health in the state confirmed that since the beginning of the epidemic to date, there have been 746 thousand positive cases of this disease in the state.

            Reliance announced that 20 people have died from complications related to influenza A virus H1N1 since the start of the outbreak of the epidemic through December 2009.
            Through a statement, the public institution explained that today officially received the report which was pending cases of 2009 by the Institute of Epidemiological Diagnosis and Reference (INDRE), With 15 more deaths.

            He said that nine are for the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) and six to the Security and Social Services for State Workers (ISSSTE), making a total of 20, from August to December last year.

            It was reported that currently only five people with the diagnosis of influenza A H1N1 were hospitalized, three in institutions of the Ministry of Health and two clinics of the IMSS, but are reported as not serious.

            On vaccination, said 239 to 201 thousand doses are applied, equivalent to 36.22%, among the general population captured by the Ministry of Health, IMSS and ISSSTE.

            He recalled that it has been shown that the biological is trustworthy and has important benefits, such as putting it safely to those who receive, without causing adverse reactions, so called poblanos to request your dose of free, along with continuing preventive measures.
