    The federal Secretariat of Health has confirmed 11 deaths and 45 cases of influenza A/H1N1 in Coahuila.

    The new death was recorded in the municipality of Saltillo. A less than three years of age, who was treated at the Institute for Security and Social Services for State employees (ISSSTE). The Secretariat of Health of Coahuila reported that the child died on Friday February 14, with the number of deaths increased to 11 for this winter season. In addition the number of cases of influenza A/H1N1 rose from 43 to 45.



    Nationally the number of confirmed cases is 5 thousand 368, while the number of deaths is 588.



    The three states with the highest number of deaths due to influenza viruses are Jalisco with 84, Baja California with 55 as well as the Federal District.



    These three states concentrated 45 percent of the confirmed cases in Mexico.
