Mexico: Serious 40% of hospitalized in the INER by A/H1N1
The National Institute of Respiratory Diseases (INER), national center for reference, is 90 percent occupancy. Half of the people hospitalized with influenza, and of these, 40 percent are serious, intubated using and in intensive care, in a similar situation to the winters of 2009-2010 and 2011-2012, the worst for Mexico from the pandemic, by the high amount of seriously ill patients. It is to draw attention that none of the patients hospitalized in Chelmsford is vaccinated against influenza. According to experts, the cause of the high prevalence of severe cases is the active movement of the pandemic virus A/H1N1. Of 48 laboratory tests carried out to the hospitalized, more than half (29) came out positive to this strain.
