H1N1 flu death toll rises to 8
Qatar?s Supreme Council for Health (SCH) yesterday announced a new H1N1 death, raising the toll linked to the virus in the state to eight. The victim was a 71-year-old Jordanian woman who was admitted to the intensive care unit at the Hamad hospital last weekend. She died the next day. The woman was also suffering from cancer, a council source told Qatar News Agency.
