Assess the overall management of the agricultural district of Riyadh and a workshop entitled (to combat bird flu) on Sunday, 1-28-1430 AH January 25, 2009 for a two-day Intercontinental Hotel in Riyadh.
This was stated by Director General of Public Administration of Agriculture in Riyadh Majid bin Saad Al-Majid stating that the workshop was aimed at the definition of bird flu and the role of the Ministry of Agriculture and other government agencies involved in combating it.
Al-Majid said the importance of establishing the definition of this workshop to the efforts made in the fight against bird flu and to review the experience in Riyadh applied in this area and to transfer the experience gained in the various regions of the Kingdom.
He reported that the workshop will include a number of lectures delivered by a group of experts and specialists from the different events and most notably the establishment of an accompanying exhibition of the participating actors and honor those who helped with the Ministry of Agriculture in the fight against bird flu.
