BASRA / Aswat al-Iraq: Basra demanded the provision of materials Veterinary examination of bird flu, according to the veterinary hospital, while the control of the Commission held its first meeting on the epidemic this year.

Abdul-Mahdi said that there was "a lack of supplies and equipment, including the number for the examination," noting that the validity of the material available to the hospital, "was about to expire during the current year 2009."
Said Director of Health Promotion Division of the Commission on control of bird flu in Basra, "held its meeting today (Wednesday) and discussed the obstacles that hinder its work, including the veterinary side constraints."
According to Dr. Qusai Abdul-Latif told (Voices of Iraq) that the meeting, which included those of the Commission on retaining control of the bird flu, consisting of the Department of Health and Environment and Veterinary Directorate and the Council of the governorate and police headquarters, "appended to those discussed ways to confront the obstacles the possible spread of the epidemic and control by stakeholders to address the for the provision of essential supplies.
